Douglas Connolly, Principal
After growing up in Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, Doug returned to the Lone Star State to attend the University of Texas at Austin. There, he majored in Economics and Math, and did his best to avoid ever moving again. He performed stand-up comedy for about 10 years, while working in education and children's ministry. In 2013, after working for almost three years at a large bank in the mortgage division, Doug decided it was time to go into business for himself in the financial services industry.
Doug made the decision to start his own firm out of a desire to provide client-centered financial services. The market movements over the last 15 years left him convinced that many of the traditional methods of financial management might not be equipped to handle the changing markets within the client's time frames.
In May 2014, Doug and his wife made the decision to relocate to Phoenix to be close to family. Despite their love for Texas, they are very happy to be in Arizona. Connolly Asset Management is accepting new clients in both Texas and Arizona.
Doug and his wife, Jessica, have a two sons and a daughter. In his spare time, Doug enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and reading. He is also the vice president of Catholic Phoenix, and hosts the group's podcast.
